  1. This is really amazing. I wonder if it's possible to really select a "best" sequential reading order, since no one can actually read several comics at once.

Since you're an expert, I was wondering if you could give me some thoughts on the trade lists I'm working on. Right now I'm trying to figure out if I've missed any marvel trades on my master list: http://dlvr.it/CWlg9

I'm attempting to sort them all into one giant tagged reading order thing, but I'm hoping I'm not missing many.

  2. Hi Ian, It's ahuge list you've got, I think your NewXMen TPB are overlapping...

  3. Yeah, they have different contents, so I've had to include the various printings. It's possible someone might have the first two small trades and the last hardcover, and want to know what fills the gap in the middle, etc. Kind of confusing how marvel releases in so many different formats.

  5. I absolutely love you for this. I've been thinking about doing something similar but am glad to discover you've already done the work!

What tool did you use to create the graphics? I am still thinking of making a map for some older things, like Civil War.

Also, one suggestion: I think the overlay for showing the years makes the diagram harder to read. Maybe you could move the 2009 overlay behind the boxes instead of above? Or leave it as a dotted line rather than a filled area?

Thanks for all your hard work on this. It's incredibly useful.
